What are the pink plus buttons on the patient’s objects?

The pink plus buttons appear in different situations and may be used to change the dose of a medication or percentage of oxygen supplied. It also works as the trigger to perform certain actions with that object.

Here are some examples of what the pink plus button does:

  • On an IV line: click to change the dose of a medication
  • On an oxygen mask: click to change the volume of oxygen supplied 
  • On the defibrillator: click to apply the defibrillator, once the pads are in place
  • Next to the bed: click to measure the urinary output
