What is the performance status?

The Performance Status in Body Interact is a numerical indicator that shows how closely your actions align with the optimal clinical approach defined by the clinical reviewer for the scenario.

This status is divided into three main feedback areas:

  • Communication
  • Assessment
  • Management

It specifically highlights the number of first-priority actions you still need to perform or decisions you need to make to achieve the optimal approach.

How It Works

The optimal approach used for calculating the Performance Status considers only the first-priority items defined in the clinical scenario. These items are based on international guidelines and the patient’s state at admission.

During the simulation, this number might change. This happens as the clinical scenario flow evolves, introducing new first-priority actions based on your decisions, as defined by the clinical reviewer.

Where to Find It

You can find this status indicator at the top of the Health Records action list.

The comprehensive quantitative and qualitative evaluation of your performance, including the penalty system for each clinical scenario, is only visible at the end of the scenario in the Scenario Feedback area, and only if enabled by the educator.

Who Can View It

  • Learners: You can see the Performance Status in scenarios included in the “Today’s Patient” section, as well as in scenarios assigned through Training Sessions, where educators have enabled Feedback and Metrics.
  • Educators: You can see the Performance Status in all your scenarios included in the “Your Scenarios” section, and in scenarios included in Training Sessions, that were assigned with visible Feedback and Metrics.

Note: The Performance Status is unavailable in Evaluation Sessions and in scenarios in the Consultation Office.
