Learning Objectives are essential components of each Body Interact simulation that provide clear guidance on what learners should be able to achieve by the end of it. They help define the educational purpose of each scenario and support both educators and learners in tracking progress.
Understand Scenario Learning Objectives
Types of Learning Objectives
In our scenarios, you will encounter two distinct types of objectives:
- General Learning Objectives: These are broad and conceptual. They describe the overarching skills or knowledge that learners should develop after completing a scenario. Think of them as the big-picture takeaways from the simulation.
- Specific Learning Objectives: These are precise, measurable, and scenario-specific. They describe exactly what actions or decisions the learner should be able to perform, based on the clinical expectations of that particular scenario. These objectives are based only on first-priority actions.
How to Access Learning Objectives
To ensure you are truly mastering the content, Learning Objectives are only revealed when you demonstrate both clinical and theoretical excellence.
The objectives will only appear if you meet both of these criteria in a single attempt:
- You finish the Simulation with the Main Goal Achieved.
- You nail the Summative Question within the Post-Simulation Questions by answering it correctly.
After you have met both requirements, follow this path to see your results:
- Move past the Simulation Feedback area.
- On the Simulation Outcome screen, you will see the complete list of Learning Objectives.
Why You Might Not See Learning Objectives
If you are using a Learner account and the objectives are missing, don’t panic. It simply means the specific combination of a successful outcome and a correct answer was not reached.
