Sessions are how educators use BI Studio to provide students with access to assigned scenarios within the Body Interact app. Whether you are running a routine training session, an evaluation, or an OSCE, following these metrics help you track collective progress, celebrate successes, and pinpoint exactly where your students might need a bit more support.
Review Simulation Session Metrics
- Log in to the BI Studio.
- Select Sessions from the sidebar menu.
- Open the Session you want to analyze.
- Scroll down and click to expand the Metrics section.
Session Analysis
Once you have opened the metrics for your session, you can visualize and explore the data in several different ways to suit your analysis needs:
Filter Metrics
Tailor your view by filtering the results by simulation type, specific scenario numbers, or a particular date range.
Overall Performance Charts
These circular charts give you a high-level snapshot of the session’s health. You can switch between different simulation environments to see:
- The total number of simulations completed.
- The percentage of correct answers given (e.g., End-of-Simulation Questions).
- The overall simulation accuracy percentage.
Detailed Performance Views
- Chart View: Take a visual deep dive into the three pillars of clinical evaluation: Communication, Assessment, and Management.
- Performance Button: Need the raw data for grading or administrative records? Click this button to download an Excel file. It packs everything: total simulations, accuracy, and a line-by-line breakdown of every attempt, including Global Scores and question responses.
Reports View
- This view lists every single simulation attempt. You’ll see the data clearly laid out per line, complete with the Global Scores.
- Feedback Report: Download a PDF Feedback Report for any specific attempt to see a detailed summary of every action taken during each simulation.
