5.5 Tests and Medications

To administer medications to your patient in Body Interact, follow these steps:

1. Open the Medication menu.
2. Select a medication category and then choose the specific drug, administration route, and dose.
   • Use the up/down arrows to explore more options within categories.
   • To search directly, click the magnifying glass icon and type at least three letters of the medication name.

In basic-level scenarios, only the medication category selection is typically required.

Important Tip: If medication options appear greyed out, you may first need to insert an appropriate access line, such as an IV line.
